As close to cost as we can get
Hansa passes on the payment-processing cost and adds only a small margin to keep the site running. Buyers pay no fee unless they choose buyer protection.
For buyers
You pay the item price plus shipping. No service fee.
Optional: buyer protection for [to be set] of the order (minimum [to be set]).
For sellers
Per sale: the exact payment-processing cost + a Hansa margin of [to be set] of the item price. Shipping is never charged a margin.
Minimum per order: [to be set], so small sales still cover the processing provider's fixed charge.
Why this adds up
Processing cost is passed through at cost, so Hansa never pays out more than it receives on a sale. The margin and the minimum cover everything else. Every fee is shown before you confirm.
